Sailing vessel Taravana is back in town, been up north for quite the while. I have not spoken to the crew being busy with other stuff but going by their web site it has been one interesting sojourn.

Had some scallops dropped off yesterday afternoon. Interesting everyone is getting scallops out around the bays when the idiots fisher persons hired to harvest scallops for the fish plant could not find any.

Any way these scallops were harvested by a program the Community Freezer operates, a program to take youth out on the land and learn from seasoned hunters.
Some of these scallops were dropped off to elders and single parents.

Great warm fall day yesterday, picked some more red berries and lots of running around like a chook with its head cut off.
